KMS is a wonderful school with a terrific faculty. However, strong parent support and involvement always improves the school environment and our children’s education. Join the PTA! We have several programs where your skills and talents can benefit our children and our school. The form can be found here.
PTA Board Meetings
PTA Board Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm in the conference room in the front office of the administration building. Members are welcome to attend.

Fundraising Opportunies

Ways and Means to Help Kanapaha Middle School!


The KMS PTA is currently sponsoring several fundraising opportunities. 
  1. We will be hold our 2nd Annual 5k Race planned for December 8th.  We are hoping for at least 200 participants this year and are already pleased to have Orthocare Afterhours as our title sponsor.

  1. We will have monthly Spirit Nights at Sonny’s on Archer Road.  Not only will these support the PTA but other KMS organizations we will partner with.  We will receive 25% of the proceeds those from KMS enjoying a great barbeque dinner.  The schedule for these spirit nights are as follows.

  1. Our Corporate partners program allows for direct donations to the KMS PTA in exchange for a recognition program established at KMS.

  1. During Coyote Howl, the PTA has a wonderful bake sale and also offers the chance to win prizes on the Wheel of Hope.  These proceeds are focused directly on the Heart-to-Heart Program for our needy students.

  1. This year’s Teacher Basketball Game will be held during 6th period the Thursday of Teacher Appreciation Week.  This is a fun week and allows for some friendly competition between our teachers and students.

While the Box Tops program is not specifically a PTA program we encourage you save your Box Tops.  KMS can receive $0.10 for each Box Top collected.  Simply cut out the box tops from the product label and put in a plastic bag.  Write your child’s homeroom teacher’s name and turn in to the front desk or the HR teacher.  KMS can also receive Box Top credit with the E-Box Top program.  Our first deadline is November 1st so please turn in all Box Tops before Wednesday, October 24, 2012.
